Education Expert Joins Forward Edge Team
Forward Edge is pleased to announce that Dr. Kathy Frye has joined its Curriculum Integration Services Team!
Dr. Kathy Frye is the new Edge•U Professional Development Specialist for Forward Edge. Kathy has served as a teacher, principal, curriculum director, and assistant superintendent. She has also worked as a Curriculum Content Manager for an e-learning company.
Kathy is a lifelong learner and has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Miami University, a Master’s in Education from Miami University, and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Cincinnati. Kathy recently earned a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media and Web Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
In addition to being passionate about education, technology, and helping students, teachers and administrators to be successful; she also loves the area of web design and creating solutions with the user in mind. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys family activities, camping, reading, and gardening.
Kathy’s expertise in the field of K-12 Education and her experience implementing Forward Edge’s Edge•U Badges program at a local school district makes her an invaluable asset to the Curriculum & Integration team’s continued growth. The Technology and Curriculum Integration team is ready to help schools further technology integration into the classroom. Everyone on the team has had formal education training, previous teaching experience, and has come to Forward Edge from the education world. Regardless of the specifics of the project, the team aligns their practices with the most recent ISTE Standards for Educators and Coaches.
