Join us November 2nd, 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm, in listening to Jill DuBois, Professional Learning Guide with Edge•U, as she presents “Bring Your PD a ‘Spark of Joy’ with Edge•U Badges!”. Jill will be discussing the program that was developed by teachers for teachers in the hopes to provide purposeful means to directly impact student success as well as support educators with the challenges they face every day in a rapidly changing world.
With the current challenges in education, this session will bring promising pathways to close the digital divide and engage educators of all skill levels in the development of education-technology skills and instructional leadership.
Jill DuBois has served in educational spaces as an elementary teacher for over 20 years and is the COO (Chief Optimistic Originator) of Imparted Joy, LLC and is a published author/illustrator of several children’s books. The keynote event is given by Dr. Monica Burns giving a presentation on “Edtech Essentials: Technology Strategies for All Learning Environments”, Matt Miller hosting “The Attention Switch”, and the LTC Team presenting on “Edtech Share”. We are more than excited to see what these speakers have in store for us.
But wait, there’s more! IETC also has special events, including their Tech Leader Summit, where everyone will get a chance to brainstorm on how to empower technology departments over all of the Illinois school districts. The fun continues later that day with the IETC Social. Drinks, appetizers, games, and this year’s special Battle Decks will all be present at this year’s party.
