Great Oaks Scholarship Golf Classic – June 16th, 2014

The Great Oaks Education Foundation will, once again, be hosting The Great Oaks Scholarship Golf Classic on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Maketewah Country Club. This event will raise funds for scholarships and financial assistance to support students and graduates.

What is the Great Oaks Education Foundation?

The Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development, one of the largest career and technical education districts in the US, has been providing career development, workforce development, and economic development services for over forty years. By 2013, Great Oaks was serving over 11,000 students in 67 programs at 40 locations.

Recognizing that many students needed financial assistance to continue their education, The Great Oaks Education Foundation was founded in 1999. This not-for-profit corporation is committed to expanding access to quality career-technical programs and services for students, and to enhance community awareness throughout the Great Oaks district. Each year, they awards more than $30,000 in the form of scholarships, grants, and financial assistance.
