Our team of Curriculum and Technology Integration team will be presenting at various times throughout the conference, which runs from November 29th- December 5th, 2020. What I Learned: My First Year of Formal Coaching Cycles 2.0 with Tyler Erwin at 10:30-11:30 am PDT

This session provides practical advice for new coaches who want to implement technology coaching cycles with teachers at their school. Attendees will leave the session with an understanding of how to organize/deploy coaching cycles, support personalized professional teacher learning, develop relationships, and show gratitude during the process.

Creating Spaces: Renovating Your Professional Development with Emily Cowan and Annamarie Rinehart at 1:30-2:30 pm PDT

Let us help you revamp and redefine what professional learning looks like in your school. Attendees will walk away with ideas on how to provide professional learning in nontraditional settings to grow teachers outside of the traditional “sit and get” P.D. day.

Blended Learning Coaching: My Journey as a First Year Coach with Tracee Keough at 1:30-2:30 pm PDT

This session will follow the journey of a first year coach working with teachers as they learn to implement blended learning strategies into a traditional classroom setting. Attendees will be able to see the structure followed with regards to workshops, informal deep dive visits, virtual feedback conversations, collaborative learning logs, and the different tracking tools that were used to help teachers see their growth in the journey over the school year.

Managing the Chaos: Tips to Keep Track of your Coaching Visits with Tracee Keough at 1:30-2:30 pm PDT

This session will demonstrate easy ways to set up note taking on both the phone and computer using tools that are easily accessible both online and offline.Session would show how to set up the TemplateTab in Google Sheets to create a place to keep all notes on one teacher/classroom in one organized space. The presentation will also have examples of how each of these tools is used, and pictures of what they look like.

Coaching the Coach Playground Session with Katie Ritter and Tyler Erwin at 1:30-2:30 pm PDT

This session will share a number of creative ideas our team uses to support the professional development of 10+ technology integration coaches, as well as provide participants with opportunities to share how they invest in themselves and their coaches.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T. the Game with Molly Lutts at 1:30-2:00 pm PDT

This session will share tips and tricks from a new coach with a variety of experiences in a face-to-face, blended, and virtual environment. What to do, when to do it, and why we do it.

Hello, World: Beginner’s Guide to Coding Across the Curriculum with Mallory Kessen

This session covers coding across the curriculum, strategies to encourage computational thinking, and how to build teacher confidence in this essential field!
