With these changes to operations, digital security has become of increased importance as the data trails that individuals leave behind expand.
2019 has been a year filled with gadgets, gizmos, and applications that are not only fun, but functional in the classroom. The end of the year is just around the corner, so maybe wrap it up with a little gift – Treat your students, friends, or maybe just yourself, to some of the coolest ed tech tools we could find for the classroom. From maker-bots to new Chrome devices, there are so many interesting bits of tech you can give to yourself and your classroom!
Top Edtech Trends Still Making Waves in 2019!
In 2019 many new Edtech trends rose to the surface; Many of which stayed strong, some of which didn’t, and a few of which are still making waves in the education community!
Educational institutions of all types have long had the practice of curating professional development for their staff, both to keep in line with educational standards and provide their staff building blocks to further their careers. From kindergarten, all the way up to higher education levels, professional development is commonly offered throughout the year as a means for educators to develop skill sets, keep knowledge current, pave a path for their careers.
As educators across the academic spectrum are aware, the start of school is nearly here. In a week, perhaps a few if you’re lucky, students will be back in session and the academic year will be in full swing. While this is an exciting time for all involved, we also know it can be very hectic, stressful, and a little on the chaotic side!
